The toonpool.com team is enchanted about the growing number of artists who created their own online Shops for free ( http://shop.toonpool.com/en/shopoffice/ ) and now present their cartoons and illustrations on posters, t-shirts and licensed downloads.
A selection of these Shops can be seen here: http://www.toonpool.com/shop.php.
This page will be updated every 3-6 days, new Shops will be added by default.
A major advantage of toonpool.com compared to other providers of online shops is the close connection to the cartoon community. Each day toonpool.com is visited by Thousands of cartoon interested people, and many of them would like to buy one or another artwork on t-shirt. There are also bloggers and editors who would like to use a cartoon for their publication and get it on a fast and simple way.
You can now approach those customers – with a Shop. To make Products in the Shops visible for customers, we achieved the first step: with an automatic link from the cartoon on toonpool.com to the respective Product in the Shop. This is a fine example by artist Tchavdar with 3 links to the Shop in the upper right: http://www.toonpool.com/cartoons/Go%20green_116113.
Most important for all artists participating in ShopOffice: this link is created automatically when you import an Artwork from your toonpool.com account! There is no other way (currently). If you like to have such links to your Shop, please follow these steps:
1. Create a Shop in ShopOffice: http://shop.toonpool.com/en/shopoffice/.
2. Upload a high-res Artwork (2,400 pixels small side minimum) in your toonpool.com account (NOT in ShopOffice).
3. Import this Artwork to ShopOffice and create Products.
4. et voilà! The link is there!
For this week, we plan to show Products of ShopOffice artists on their respective profile pages on toonpool.com. This is also possible only if Products are imported from toonpool.com.
